Since the exhaust is theoretically like a weird musical instrument, I've often wondered whether anybody tried tuning for sound with different materials/thicknesses. Musicians pay thousands for especially precise and specific materials, and can easily hear the diff. Would be interesting how this affects sound (i.e. the wrapping or opening up, perhaps thicker sections, altered lengths, or small resonance chambers). I think some muffler companies do some of this, but I've never seen it as a changeable option, or with back-to-back comparo's.
And your cutout should get an electronic butterfly, so you don't have to crawl under to open it up. Those do still come bundled with the Mexican musical horn and a set of fuzzy dice, right? Just like my Uncles' old Impala.
