- You've lowered your car and now speed bumps and some driveways are now a challenge
- A part you added became problematic and isn't under warranty
- An expensive mod didn't really get you that much "extra" / wasnt' worth the price
- Exhaust mods caused you to fail smog check / isn't legal in CA
- A part wore out / broke quickly

No regrets at all with any mod I've done on the car. Only thing I think I would've done differently is just do a muffler/resonator delete + catless downpipe. Would've saved $2k, even if the AWE sounds better imo.
Your mod list looks great, I would recommend looking into more aggressive tuning options such as JB4 or Active Autowerke instead of Dinan. The M240i with JB4 + downpipe and a dialed-in coilover setup will absolutely demolish an M2, and sound better doing it.
