Why would anyone need snow tires? LOL.


I have two sets of rims. I picked up Pirelli Sottozero Winter 270 Series II M&S in the same size as the summer tires. They are W speed rated (168 mph) and XL for weight. This will be my third winter using these. I have had no major issues. I did come across some black ice, fortunately, on a straight section of a back road and had a "moment".

I was able to get a set of stock rims at a discount. Long story. I just swap them twice a year and I finally took the time to make a rack to store them.
