I was a huge V1 guy and had it for 12-13 years until this last winter. I absolutely could not stand the false alarms and wanted to toss it out the damn window.
The V2 came out....and it looks the same. Very disappointing.
On top of that, people said you still had to basically tape over the gesture control or other sensors with the updated version. I feel it's cheap as f*ck to pay $500 for a radar and still have to put some electrical tape over sensors in your $120k car.
I bought the Uniden R7 and love it. Less false alarms...love the GPS lockout.....great sensitivity to actual cops....love that I can change the color of the readout to like 15 different colors.
