The level sensor is just a 2 wire sensor that completes a ground path to trigger a light. Should not be hard to find a substitute. Not sure about a harness end adapter. Could try cutting off the stock sensor end to see if there is something inside you can work with. Otherwise, cut and splice but leave enough pigtail to re-attach the stock harness end if necessary one day.
