I just didn't want to drop the money on the new turbos. The car sounds right and is silly fast, couldn't justify the big extra cost for 50ish more hp.
I thought about going catless but I was concerned it might be too loud and I wanted to give it a chance at passing emissions without throwing the stock hardware back on.
It does replace the upper and lower downpipes with a single piece. It has a single high flow cat where the stock upper sits. No lower cat. Fit was perfect. I was able to swap them out myself in about 6-7 hours.
