Toyota did it with a Toyota 86 last year. Six hours to reach 102.5 miles of drifting. It's currently the only RWD car they have.
I dunno if Toyota did anything like use a fuel cell (too lazy to look it up) in the 86 but I'm sure BMW could've just used a diesel 3-series to get insane miles. That'd be hella boring though.
