Yeah stuff that! I got 10% off list price on a brand new one. Dealer has emailed me a video of it arriving still in all it's interior wrapping. No way would I be taking a demo car for anywhere near list.
You'll be able to just move your deposit to the new one I'm sure. It won't be your dealer that's the problem it'll be the one that's effectively losing a sale by giving your dealer their car
