That is how I'd handle it, it sounds like your dealership is a joke in customer service to tell you a sold car is being driven around and to hold on. Could you imagine ordering an M4 or an M2 and being told hey hold we need some more people to test drive this a bit and get on it. You'll get a call from us in a few days when we're ready to sell it to you. I'd instantly lose it.
