I think I might have to agree with you and remove them. On a dark colored car they wouldn't stick out as much but yeah I would like to have the full length of the side skirts visible.
The spoiler is eBay carbon. I wanted the M pro but it had to be installed with the beta link and I just said screw it and got this one, it looks good and fit perfect for a no name.
