[A Need For Speed]

For users of Waze, does yours automatically warn of police and other alerts in CarPlay using new IOS 13? Mine is now silent unless I program a route in. It used to speak alerts if the app was just running but now requires programing in a route to a destination to have a voice. Is this going on for anyone else? Something is not right.

Also, once you start Waze does it stay on for you every time you start the car? Or do you have to restart Waze every time you want it on?
