The CS from the reviews is reading to be a better M5, than its prior iterations. The breadth of scope has widened, purpose has remained the same.
Those who track their M5s, will find a more capable M5 in the CS - although it’s not the ideal track car.

It’s a ICE V8 without batteries. Last of its kind and can do insane acceleration and speed with relative safety and comfort. The interior is perfect. And it’s a limited run.
I personally can’t wait to get mine.
