Take your time with the airbag removal and you'll be fine. Its a little frustrating to get it off but its not difficult. I've installed both the Autotecknic and 3d Design paddle, the Autotecknic are a better value but the 3D ones look great.
Since some are very particular and don't like plastic on their paddles, its worth noting that the back of the 3D design ones have some plastic, not on the actual paddle but the part that connects the paddle to the wheel.
