Sure, it looks cool. But carbon fiber is both about looking cool and saving weight. This literally adds weight to the car. There is nothing “M Performance” about it. Yes, the added weight is negligible, but if BMW is going to sell it for that price, it needs to be an actual cap replacement, not just an overlay.
Not knocking you guys for buying it. Just knocking BMW for selling it. It’s the same as MB charging $600+ for carbon fiber overlay sideview mirror caps. If it’s an overlay, it might as well be a vinyl wrap.
