California Vehicle Code 11796 states:
It is unlawful for any dealer licensed under this article to do any of the following when brokering a retail sale:

Do you know if it matters that the dealership is in Ohio though? I live in California, signed the contract in California and they were going to have the car delivered to a dealership here that would do all of the paperwork.
