Excellent driving by both.
Wonder how many people that M5CS RingTaxi had in it!
Performance Hondas have always been sublime.
Had a 97 Prelude 2.2VTi with electric rear wheel steering years ago! Wasn't quick by today's standards with only 200hp and 160lbsft, but it was indestructible and the engine, transmission and chassis/steering was a superb combo. It would have been perfect with another 50hp and torques and a 6th gear ;-)
My 19 F90 M5C makes it feel so slow and basic but it was super tactile, like the late LJK Setright said, a Japanese scalpel for the road.
The M5 is more like a German sledgehammer!!!
At my current stage of life, a sledgehammer is what I want! One that cruises at motorway speeds at 1750rpms instead of 4000, with cooled, heated and massaging seats haha and can just blow by traffic with a squeeze of the throttle instead of having to plan, change down 2 or even 3 gears and flooring it with the revs bouncing off the limiter at 8300...and still getting same mpg as the old Prelude, fun though those days were lol
Ahh, I reminisce with fondness :-)
Appreciate 1
