Air is good this morning. So I did some testing… I turned down the JB4 to map 1 since the boost was way too high on map 2, causing my timing to take a beating.
Way way better. Gained 2mph in 1/4 and did a 10.48 spinning all 4 tires through 1st gear.
Not sure why the factory tune and ecu started calling for more boost, but it has been up 2 psi since downpipes. So JB4 users really need to keep an eye on their ecu boost and select the proper map. For me with comp package, downpipes. Map 1 works better snd keeps my throttle boost at around 23-24, which lets the timing come up to where it should be.
I’ll need 100octane race gas to run map 2… which I have and will try later on.
Next mod, Dinan inlets. Arrived today, will install shortly and report back if any improvements with draggy.
