I have both the Weistec filter housing and the Assenmacher Specialty Tools Euro 1/4 turn oil filler, part #OFAUD1000. Even though I’m still having the dealership change my oil, the mechanic appreciated the use of both during the last service. He had been using an improvised funnel that needed a rag at the bottom to make a seal. The oil filler can be found at asttool.com. It attaches securely and leak free to the fill point, and holds a couple of quarts, making the process less tedious.
The Weistec piece is overpriced, but since no one else makes it and I plan to keep the car for many years, it was worth it to me. It’s very well made, but $199……?
