While I'm not entirely recommending this to anyone, I have been driving on R6's for years on the streets. I drive on them in the rain as well and just avoid standing water as that is the only thing the grooves on tires do anyway is displace standing water.

Testing on a half oval road course today said that 38psi front and 40psi rear was the fast ticket. I think this will be slightly lower for lower load tracks though as the right side of my car was absolutely cooked.. cool the tires are 4psi different right to left.
