I've had both, each have their pros and cons. Best pro for sensatec is wear, scuffs and fading. my e46 had it and looked great at 135k.
Both my e88's had/have Boston leather pros thick surface, smells great and luxury. both cars w/areas wrinkled and worn faded marks by 40k
I don't notice heat or breath ability difference.
