I own both a F90 competition and a 720S coupe. Both are stock. The F90 is a quick car, but the 720 is a whole different league of fast. I love the M5 for what it is - a very quick, comfortable car in which 5 people can comfortably travel. The McLaren fills a different remit, but addresses all the shortcomings of the M5 as a sports car. The gearbox is instant, the engine tuning encourages running it to redline, the steering is direct and "alive", and it is light! So over any road it is more fun and far easier to drive quickly.

The fact that it gives very little up to the M5 in ride comfort is also phenomenal.
