I'm curious if the new M5s with cloud based navigation have maps specific to the location its in. So for example previously if the car was bought in north america it would have NA maps installed (Pre Cloud based NAV). Is this still the case or is the system setup to always retrieve the maps it needs without having to install maps for that specific region?

My understanding is it's like google maps. Server based. So wherever you are it uses gps and synced server to navigate. Could be wrong.
