What would be a good tire size that looks good?
Thanks!
Here's something a lot of people overlook or are not aware of- tread roll caused by running tires wider than the ideal width. Yes, a wider tire equals more grip but only if you pair it with the appropriate width wheel. If you run wider than the upper limit of ideal then you just have more loose rubber that will bend, scrunch and roll which means less grip and more chances of damage to the drivetrain components.
Your ideal front tire would be 275/35/20 or 275/30/20(if you want a thinner sidewall) and the rear would be 295/30/20.
This contains professional advice as well as personal experience.
We work with a few racers (semi-pro and pro) and have to forge custom wheels to meet their desired goals (time attack).
