Couldn't agree more! I currently have 2 "Germans"; UTS and Steinhart, see images. The UTS story is an interesting one, to me it is a stunning watch and the image attached does not do it justice. It is a robust and heavy watch (8 ounces), and I have yet to see anyone else wearing one after 5+ years of use. I really like the IWC Big Pilot, but could not see myself paying that kind of money, so opted for a "lookalike" Steinhart Pilot Chronograph and will probably use the funds saved to supercharge my M3! With the Euro/Dollar exchange rate being favorable, this was a no-brainer for me. With Steinhart you order directly from their website and the watch arrives about a week later. I used PayPal for the transaction and it was seamless. UTS is also a direct order from their website, and these are truly great people to deal with.
