Not really, it’s so common over there. I feel safer driving on the autobahn at high speeds than driving here in the U.S. at the rated speed limit. The drivers there don’t pull out in front of you, they don’t pass on the right side, they don’t weave in and out of traffic and if you are coming up behind someone fast even though they are in the passing/ fast left lane, they see you approaching and move over to the right to let you pass..... it’s brilliant, unlike how the drivers over here are. Its a free for all here and everyone just does what ever want while being oblivious to other drivers while on their phones. It’s maddening how people drive here.

I know, preaching to the choir as I have been there many times before. I agree the skill and level of driving is light years ahead in comparison of the average US Joe on our interstates. But still there are idiots and at speeds in excess of 200MPH the room for error is an order of a magnitude less. They may have less accidents but when they do get into a wreck it could be very ugly.
