I would love to know how many kWh it truly takes to charge a Tesla battery.

Rates are now between $0.10/kWh and $0.20/kWh and heading the wrong way like fuel and everything else!

I'm seeing posts saying 34kW per 100 miles. If those posts are correct:

So that ranges out to $3.40 to $6.80 per 100 mi vs 5 gallons at $4.50 = $22.50 for M5

Or if normal car using 87 and getting 30 mpg, $14.17

A Tesla looks to be around $50k to $70k for something halfway decent, payback would be around 3,400 gallons for M5, 6,500 gallons for regular car.
Limited supply, no really plan for going to lessor expensive source, already known issues with the grid, so are you surprised that electricity costs go up? Imagine if just 5% of all cars on the road were Electrics?

No kidding!

…And you want to talk about control of the masses and movement of people!?!?
