anyways, the update only takes about an hour total. you basically pull an actual computer chip out of the jb3 module, plug it into a circuit board that's hooked up to your computer, then reflash the software. i bought the chip burner, but the software itself is free, so anyone can do the update. we can do it some weekend, or if you're near newton, just come over some night after work.
