The "most important" cars always go at the tail because it has the least risk of damage, usually if it's this "important" it would be on the top of the tail not the bottom but each company and driver is different, but I still don't really understand why people don't instead pay for enclosed trailer shipping for these since it's only about 50% more on average

I'm not sure you can intercept and change the delivery to a dealership form the port. I have never heard of that at least. Is there an option to request that somewhere along the line?
