I agree. Move on. First the sales manager tries to sell you his used demo with a transmission that you don't want, and then suddenly after you decline to take his car then they come up with the allocation you really wanted ?
If you can find another dealer I would buy elsewhere and then roll back to the original dealer in your new ride and let them know you bought elsewhere because they were clearly not originally interested in selling you the vehicle you wanted.
If you can't find another dealership then still get the car if it's the spec you want but make sure you go elsewhere for service and future purchases.
