True, but it is borderline and you can run 305s on an M6 but not an M5 with those wheels I believe. The M6 was 19mm and the M5 34mm so 15mm difference.

The F90 and F92 will be 20mm difference in offset assuming that the rear axle is the same and they are achieving the track difference by using a different offset. But the F92 might have a unique rear axle - we don't know yet. If it has an axle which is unique and is wider so the offset is closer then the wheels might fit just fine. But I think if the axle is the same I think that 20mm will be too much!
