I got a drivetrain malfunction error today
I had my tune for 2 to 3 months and everything was fine up until today.
I was driving and when I floored it in sport+ mode to pass a truck and as soon as I passed him I got the drive train malfunction warning and the car went into limp mode and had to pull over...embarrassing level over 9000...
I called the dealer and they suggested if I could make it in safely then drive it in instead of waiting for a tow.
I took it into the dealer (with the tune still on) and they took a look at it.
the dealer I go to is modding friendly so I wasn't concerned at all
they spent almost 3 hours looking at the car and said they found nothing wrong with it but dont know why the car was in limp mode..
then they took out my bms and reset my batteru and viola...out of limp mode.
test drove it for 5 to 10 minutes and nothing was wrong.
then I drove back to the dealer to tell them that nothing is wrong and they helped me reinstall my bms and drove it out again.
within 2 minutes drive train malfunction and went into limp mode again...
so the dealer concluded it was tune causing the drive train malfunction
they assured me there's absolutely nothing wrong with my car though
I'll be interested to hear what your dealer finds
