Because a tuned-m5 run makes it more even. A 650s traps 135-136mph 1/4 STOCK.
An m5 can barely do 130mph STOCK.... wont be much of a race from a roll.
This tuned m5 with downpipes traps close to the above 650s which makes it a good race
