For sure. From what I have read is that BMW grossly underrates the performance stats and their tuned ZF transmission is incredibly efficient. I have not felt a better transmission in anything. This is why the new X5M might have less hp on paper but will dominate others with more hp.
I owned a new RR Sport for 7 very long months. Never again will I buy a British car.
