I am from Arkansas. A friend is headed from OKC. I drove down to the 24 hours of Daytona in late January to hang out with the BMWCCA at the race and decided there to make it to Monterey. I then went to the Mid-America 2002 fest here in NW Arkansas in late April and met a guy from Maine who drove his car to it and was driving his 3.0 CS from Maine to Monterey in August. They are talking about 1500 BMW's there. It should be great fun. If you are in the upper Midwest there is the Vintage in Pittsburgh this weekend. Lots of cars there and I believe historic racing. |
