What does messing with the flash counter mean exactly? Didn’t the ECU tune already do that?
As for downpipes, I don’t want to do full downpipes either, because of the fuel smell. I was thinking about doing only primary (upper downpipes) and not secondaries which would allow for a stage 2 ECU tune. Do you recommend it? |
Ecu tune if done directly to the ecu doesn't trip the flash counter. Primary pipes are a great mod but it is visual to the dealership. A lot of people run it but to me for a 20-30hp gain over stage 1 not worth it. My service advisor was open about it that they won't void warranty just coz I have dps but if something happens and dps are the coz I'll have to replace them with oem and they will see if they can still cover the part or not. For this reason I stayed away from it.
