For those audiophiles out there, I had just spoken to Kevin Voecks, designer for Revel speakers, and we were talking about my home setup and the frequency curve he looks for in his design. We discussed tools to analyze and other stuff.
Anyway, we talked about how people like a bump in the bass and a roll off in the treble (the true frequency response when you account for the room). So using the tools we discussed, I tried to replicate a better frequency curve in the M5. These were smaller changes to smoothen things out as it is very hard to make things perfect. You definitely can go more heavy handed or change to your personal style but this is a good starting point and I still use it about 6 months later.
