Hi elitex did you get to install the extra sub? Which one did you put in and how much modifications did it take? Did you tap into the line signal before it enters the factory amp?

Hey. I ended up going with JL Audio 12w6 in a sealed box. I don't think you can tap before the amp is they use optical connections. You have to do it after and deal with all the processing done to the signal. Imo, bass told off considerably once you turn up the volume.
Bass restore feature on the line level converter doesn't work that well. Subwoofer is still worth adding though.
