To add to the list of questions here.
I have a US spec X1 here in Germany currently.
Would the bike rack preparation and detachable tow bar for the UK/Euro spec X1's fit onto a US spec vehicle?
I am not sure why but the US market is lacking really good rear mount bike racks like the European markets. I currently use a Thule EuroRide 940 bike rack on my E46 320d that I would love to be able to mount on the X1. I know the wiring is different between the Euro and American plugs but I am hoping the new X1 will be plug and play.
It might be worth a trip to the dealership to see if they can make it work.
