i hope you are right because i plan to do the same on the new engine once bmw is done with it. maybe run it a little harder in the beginning. anyone know if its a good idea running in manual downshift and holding higher rpms for longer periods to vary the rpms? or just drive it normally in auto? i wonder what they do with all the faulty engines
