I just swapped my base M5 chrome kidney grill with a IND black one. Only took 15 minutes to do the swap.
In my case the two bottom outside plastic clips broke off but since it was a replacement swap it isn't an issue. If you plan on reusing the kidney grill you need to be careful not to break the bottom clips.
