Hi all - just a quick hello from an old e90post'er. I have now changed the 335d coupe for a 535d (Jan 11). Still hard to know how much I like it. I miss the rawness of the tuned e92 for sure - but I like the comfort and moderness of the new 5.
It is a middle-of-road specced car and I will miss my professional audio and sunroof
A couple of issues so far.
Has anyone upgraded the standard sound?
I am going to see someone today about upgrading it as the bass is awful. I hope to replace the standard speakers and put an external amp in - nothing too fancy.
Has anyone elses car got rusty front caliper springs?
I bench wire-brushed mine and sprayed them with stove paint. (see below)
I think it looks better than rust anyway!!
