The rear to me was easier than the front. The rear seats don’t have to come out. The rear shelf has to come out to access the upper 3 nuts of the rear suspension. The side pieces of the rear seats do come out allowing for the access to shelf but they pull up and out. The front is a bit harder if it’s just you by yourself doing the job alone like I was. Good info. If I was to do it myself, I would go with the 550 springs, I just don't have the time so I was looking to find a way to get BMW to do it during my standard maintenance. I understand why they don't want to install aftermarket parts but I don't know any other place I trust enough. |
Are there no trust-worthy indy shops near you that can do this install for you?
