Have you driven yours yet? The comp exhaust is louder than the regular m5. I'm sure akrapovic exhaust sounds much better, but the comp isn't bad, and certainly much better than the regular m5. You can't hear it in the cabin as much as you would think when you hear how loud it is outside, which is the main reason to go aftermarket. Def drive around in sport plus a little before pulling the trigger on aftermarket. Also the comp exhaust gets a little louder until it is fully broken in at about 2k miles.
^^^this + plus you can always delete resonator w/ x-pipe and see if that improves the sounds ^^^ The M-Sport (Comp) exhaust is a big improvement over the Base M5 exhaust and really very close to the Akra I had on my F10 M5.
