I used both the GC and Vorshlag plates on my E30 and I have Vorshlag plates on my 1M.
Much like the 1M.. Camber plates are likely a
necessory for guys that track their M2.
I prefer the Vorshlag plates, because in my direct experience with the older designs.. they do make less noise than GC plates..
it looks like Ground Control is on the scene and readily available for the M2 with an adjustable plate design.

I'll agree with others.. asking for a Camber plate to have ZERO guaranteed additional NVH over stock is like asking for track pads that don't create dust.
