Not forgetting that the front wheels are only ever driven when the stability system detects slip at the rear wheels.
You can often feel the drive being sent to the front with a slight tightening of the steering wheel especially if its off centre.
I tried RWD only for a short while..no doubt its fun for hooning around but I like the confidence the xdrive gives for spirited driving especially on UK roads.
