The individual catalog colors designated to specific BMW models, or as they are informally called, "semi" individual or pre-designated individual colors will take less time as other individual colors require approvals, sourcing the paint, transportation, prepping and assembly line slots etc.
These extra steps are in most cases eliminated for individual catalog colors as BMW most likely already pre-planned for them. I'm not sure if the take longer than standard colors tho. My guess is they take a little longer than standard colors (maybe 2 weeks) but not as long as >4weeks. |
Appreciate it! I'm kinda new to all this and I got an individual color that was an option on the site, so I wasn't 100% sure
