It has done about 8600km (5300 miles) and just had its first service about 3 weeks ago.
For the last week or so, I can definitely hear the brakes screeching at certain times, not always.
Clearly I need to get it to the service place, but any ideas why it should do it so early in its life?
I have mostly city driving with no sudden hard braking.

Do you have M-Sport Brakes?
You need to do a brake bedding-in procedure. google and ye shall find.
