Also believe it's an error, which is pretty common for these press releases, there's always errors and oversights I notice even just as an enthusiast on each launch. BMW doesn't have their brightest people writing press launches or editing/analyzing photos of the cars they use.
The fact they use an individual Imola Red launch color with heavy black cast wheels on the competition car is simply weird to me. Just show off one of the new standard colors you've added... Where are the pictures of the standard car with the chrome grills? Bigger pictures of the *new* cast wheels you're offering... where are the official press pictures of the m-performance parts? Why not offer an explanation of why we aren't getting laser lights in the US? At least explain its because of government regulations and not that you're just hiding something.
