I just placed my order for a 2011 550xi yesterday. Some may consider me crazy, but I got out of my 2008 M3 Convertible lease 13 months early to do so. Living in Minnesota doesn't allow for much sense to have a car sit idle for around 5 months of the year. Besides, the low miles and great condition of my M3 allowed me to essentially come out even after the buy out. I did need to make the concession of compensating for the thin tread on the wheels, but I felt that was justifiable given the wear and tear put on them (with great joy). Until my 550xi arrives, I'll be using my 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged.

Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated on the order. I understand I have a brief amount of time to modify.

One last thought, I was considering holding out for the 2011 M5, but justified by not dealing with the likelyhood of a price tag nearing 6 digits. I also thought of the possibility of entering into the new M3 once they arrive for model year 2012.
