The calipers are a bit of a pain to get clean. I just use a soft bristle detailers brush, and hope to get in all the nooks and crannies. Maybe if I used a spray wheel cleaner, rather than just soapy water, I could get them cleaner. I may have to move on to a more aggressive approach.
